The Basketball Player of the Week has been a staple of Shore Sports Network's coverage over the years and we have always left it up to the fans to decide the winner -- and still do. Now, SSN is recognizing its own choices for Player of the Week, not just in the Shore Conference, but in Monmouth and Ocean Counties individually.

Monmouth County Week 5 Player of the Week Presented by Savvy Fit Soaps

Grace Feeney, Trinity Hall

Feeney has taken a step forward in her sophomore year for Trinity Hall, becoming a second option on the offensive end of the floor. Last week she averaged 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1 steal in Trinity Hall’s two wins and was selected as Monmouth County Player of the Week.

The Monarchs opened the week with a win against Middletown North and Feeney scored a career-high 17 points to lead all scorers in the game. She also grabbed four rebounds and had 1 steal.

Against Middletown South she scored 15 points and grabbed 3 rebounds. On the defensive side of the floor, Feeney had one block and one steal. Feeney shot 3 for 3 from the foul-line during the week.
