Aaron Wojenski hit a two-run single in the top of the second and Braden Walsh followed with a two-run double in the top of the third as the Rebels scored early and hung on to beat the Rockets, advancing to the first round of the Monmouth County Tournament.
Raritan mounted a major threat during the bottom of the fourth, when the Rockets scored three runs on consecutive no-out singles by Matt Zweidinger, Alan Warren and Travis Evernham. With the bases loaded, Rohan Shan struck out the next batter, induced a pop-up for the second out and tagged Zweidinger out at home when he attempted to score on a wild pitch for the final out.

Freshman Christian Mascaro pitched a three-hit shutout for the first win of his high school career and the Indians blanked the Green Dragons for their second straight win.
Sophomore Jaden Geremia had the lone run-scoring hit, which came in the form of an RBI single in the bottom of the fifth. Ben McEwen tripled and scored on a squeeze bunt by Rob Abetemarco in the fourth inning and also single and scored on a passed ball in the second.

Noah Hoogmoed capped a three-run bottom-of-the-seventh inning with a game-winning RBI single, delivering the Green Wave with a walk-off win over the Blue Bishops.
Carlos Torres drove in the first run of the final inning with an RBI single and winning pitcher Kellen Campbell scored the tying run on a wild pitch.
Long Branch also scored twice in the bottom of the sixth on RBI singles by Hoogmoed and Damion Carrero that cut Asbury Park's lead to 6-3.

Danny Metrick and Jacob Pinto each went 5-for-5 across the two games of a double-header sweep by the Red Raiders over the Piners.
Pinto went 3-for-3 with a double and four RBI in the first game and finshed game two 2-for-2 with two runs scored. Metrick meanwhile, was also 3-for-3 with a double in game one to go with three runs scored and three RBI. In game two, Metrick was 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI.
Ryan Byrne also went 3-for-3 with a double, triple and four RBI to lead the game-two attack.

Manchester 9, Pinelands 7
Manchester leftfielder Gavin Stapon ran down a deep fly ball by Logan Hammer for the final out of the game, stranding the bases loaded with the winning runs and giving the Hawks their second straight win.
Anthony Carino and Evan Palmer each homered in a four-run fifth inning by Manchester -- the second of two four-run innings by the Hawks after they scored four times in the top of the second to take a 4-2 lead. Brenden Spaziano singled home a run to make it 8-3 and Joe Bentivegna doubled home an insurance run in the top of the sixth for a 9-4 Manchester lead.

Brett Benecke doubled in a run in the first inning and added an RBI single in the second as the Lions rode a fast start to a win over the Griffins.
Jack Kanis added what proved to be a crucial run with an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth that extended Jackson Liberty's lead to 6-2 after Donovan Catholic cut its deficit in half on a two-out, two-run error in the top of the fourth.
Joe Maier doubled in a run and Ryder Simpson followed with an RBI single to cut Jackson Liberty's lead to 6-4 and Donovan Catholic pulled within 6-5 on a sacrifice fly by Tyler Levine.
Colin Menafra recovered to secure the final out of the sixth and Matt Galayda fired a one-two-three seventh inning for the save and the Lions win.
