Elite Sports Physical Therapy Week 4 Shore Conference Wrestler of the Week: Raritan’s Braden Kmak

Every week this wrestling season, Shore Conference fans will have the chance to vote for the Elite Sports Physical Therapy Wrestler of the Week on our website and decide which local standout should earn the weekly honor.
The winner of the Week 4 (Jan 10 to Jan. 16) is Raritan junior Braden Kmak, who went undefeated for the week and earned a ranked victory to help the Rockets win six matches.
Kmak was 6-0 during Week 4, including a 10-6 victory over Marlboro's Mike Bruno, who was ranked No. 7 at 132 pounds in the SSN rankings. He also had three wins by fall and a major decision to help Raritan earn wins over Matawan, Old Bridge, Ocean, Marlboro, Jackson Memorial, and Somerville.
After going 10-5 last season as a sophomore, Kmak has emerged as one of Raritan's top wrestlers and currently owns a 16-4 record. He is a valuable piece of the puzzle for a Rockets team that has its sight set on competing for the NJSIAA Group 2 state title.
Kmak won a close poll with 25.36 percent of the votes to narrowly win over Rumson's Ryan Boyer, who was second with 21.92 percent of the votes.
