The four highest seeds to advance in the preliminary round will receive a bye into the MCT quarterfinals. The other eight winners will be paired as follows:

12th-best seed at fifth-best seed

11th-best seed at sixth-best seed

10th-best seed at seventh-best seed

Ninth-best seed at eighth-best seed

There will also be a consolation bracket for the 12 losers of the preliminary round structured in the same manner as the tournament for the winners.
