Middletown North 14, No. 5 CBA 11

Sophomore Zach Hampton went 2-for-3 with a double and lasted long enough to earn the win on the mound as the Lions (5-5, 5-4) slugged their way to a win over the previously-unbeaten Colts (9-1-1, 5-1-1).

Senior R.J. Kernan was 2-for-3 with a solo home run and both junior Dylan Briggs and sophomore Gabe Alhemeyer went 3-for-3 apiece, with Ahlemeyer driving in four and Briggs knocking in two while also tripling and scoring three times.

Senior Colby McMahon also went 2-for-4 with an RBI and senior Ryan Frontera doubled and drove in one for Middletown North.

Hampton allowed five earned runs in 5 1/3 innings before giving way to sophomore Alipio Figueroa, who pitched the final 1 2/3 to close out the Middletown North win.

Senior Harrison Campi went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a triple, making him CBA's all-time leader in triples with 10 in three seasons. Senior Wyatt Hunt was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBI while senior James Nitti went 2-for-4 with four RBI in the loss.
