Ocean 11, Elmira Southside 4

Senior catcher Zack Godfrey went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI and Anthony Bartolomei threw a complete-game five-hitter with six strikeouts to lead the Spartans (4-2) to a win over Elmira in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Brian Kochenash and Glenn Davis each added two hits an a double, while Miles Moody also checked in with two hits for Ocean.

Manalapan 8, New Rochelle 4

Junior Nick Serra tossed six strong innings and junior John Diana and senior Will Meany each had three hits to help the Braves (5-3) cap their Florida trip with a win over New Rochelle, N.Y. Serra allowed one earned run on six hits and no walks over six innings while striking out three.

Diana drove in two runs to go with his three hits, while Meany tripled, scored two runs and drove in another. Sophomore Chris Rodriguez also scored two runs in the win, and junior Ajay Kawa struck out the side in the seventh inning to overcome two unearned runs.
