Class A North

No. 9 Middletown South 15, Colts Neck 0

Sophomore midfielder Colin Gallagher scored four goals and senior midfielder Luke Rohrmann had three goals and one assist as the Eagles (2-0, 1-0) rolled to a victory over the Cougars (0-1, 0-1).

Sophomore attackman Jake Sawyer also scored three goals while junior midfielder Beau Servidio tallied a goal and two assists, senior attackman Shawn Dowd had a goal and an assist, junior defenseman Kevin Dunphy scored once, and senior midfielder Brendan Gilbert had one assist.

 

Middletown North 10, Marlboro 1

 

Class B North

No. 1 Rumson-Fair Haven 16, Red Bank Catholic 5

The Bulldogs (2-0, 1-0) showcased their depth with 10 different goal scorers to cruise to a victory over the rival Caseys (1-1, 0-1).

Quinn Stankovits scored a game-high three goals while Tommy French, Cole Cashion, Aidan Stevenson, and Phillip Passalaqua each scored twice. Christian Bockelmann and Grayson Goldin had three-point nights with a goal and two assists each while Brody Page, Quinn Lumsden, and LSM Matthew Bockelmann had one goal apiece.

Will Setteducate made eight saves in goal to earn the win.

Anthony Muniz had two goals and two assists to lead RBC. Ryan Brown also scored twice and Torin Harmon had a goal and two assists.

Rumson led 8-1 at halftime and 12-3 going into the fourth quarter.

 

 

Nondivisional

Point Boro 17, Toms River North 8

Senior Aidan Kirl delivered five goals and three assists and freshman Brady Kirk tallied four goals and three assists as the Panthers' offense continued its hot start in a victory over the Mariners (0-1).

Point Boro (2-0) has scored 32 goals in its first two games of the season.

Matt Koehler, Grayson Ritter, and Logan Morris each scored twice, Matt Meccia added a goal and an assist, Dennis Glynn chipped in with an assist, and Tommy Morris won 15 of 26 draws at the face-off X.

Matt Azzarano made 12 saves and Owen Dewysockie picked up seven ground balls.

 

Nonconference

No. 7 CBA 12, Moorestown 4

Junior attackman Ian Macrae scored four goals with one assist, sophomore attackman Ryan Martin totaled three goals and three assists, and junior attackman Nick Blalock scored twice with three assists as the Colts (1-1) topped the Quakers (0-2).

Liam Schwartz added a goal and an assist, Sean Tennyson and Hayden Kelly each scored once, and Aidan Guinnessey assisted on a pair of goals.

Brandon DeSena made four saves and Jeff Frankenburg made one save in goal for CBA.

CBA led 10-1 at halftime and had a 31-9 shots advantage.
