South Group 3 - Quarterfinals

3-Ocean City 13, 6-Brick Memorial 5

Senior Dan Aulisi registered one goal and three assists to become the second player in program history to reach 100 points in a single season but the Mustangs (13-5) fell to the Red Raiders (12-7) to end their tournament run.

Aulisi scored 63 goals this season to set a program single-season record, breaking the mark of 56 set last season by Darren Romaine. His 101 points this season are second to the 104 Romaine tallied last year.

The game was tied 2-2 after the first quarter before Ocean city scored five times in the second quarter and four times in the third quarter to break the game open.

Henry Lindquist led Brick Memorial with three goals and Dylan Rinyak scored once along with Aulisi. Senior goalie Paul Mazzeo made 15 saves.

 

2-Clearview 18, 7-Jackson Memorial 2

Senior attackman Matt DeRosa and sophomore attackman Drew Barocas each scored once while Hunter Olsen (8 saves) and Bryan Quackenbush (7 saves) shared time in goal as the Jaguars (10-7) had their season come to an end at the hands of the Pioneers (12-4).

 

South Group 2 - Quarterfinals

1-Rumson-Fair Haven 18, 8-Cranford 1

The top-seeded Bulldogs dominated the Cougars to reach the semifinals where they will host the winner of Saturday's game between Hopewell Valley and Somerville.

 

2-Manasquan 16, 7-Allentown 4

Junior attackman James Farinacci delivered four goals and four assists, senior midfielder Niland DiLuchio tallied four goals and three assists, and sophomore midfielder Brody Muly sank three goals with one assist to power the Warriors (15-4) past the Redbirds and into the semifinals.

On Wednesday, May 25 Manasquan will host the winner of Saturday's game between Wall and Holmdel.
