T.J. Liquori, Sr., 160, Jackson Liberty
The Lions senior went 4-0 with three wins over wrestlers ranked in the top 10 of their weight classes by theshoreconference.com. Liquori defeated St. John Vianney's Terrence Davis 4-2, edged Raritan's Connor Sheehan 1-0 and blanked Long Branch's Arturo Rios 5-0 up at 170 pounds. Liquori, who is a two-time District 21 champion, is 9-1 this season and ranked second at 160 pounds.

Class A North
Nick DePierro, Sr., 113, Freehold Township: DePierro joined Gene Accardi and Ken Brophy as the only wrestlers in Patriots history to win 100 career matches when he recorded a pin in a match against Manalapan. He is 12-2 this season.
Class A Central
Marcus Iwama, Jr., 132, Rumson-Fair Haven: Iwama went 4-0 with two pins, a technical fall and a major decision en route to winning the 132-pound title at the Buc Classic. A state qualifier last year, Iwama is 8-2 this season.
Class A South
Jesse Bauta, Sr., 220, Southern: Bauta's third-period pin of Kyle Cocozza keyed the No. 2 Rams' 28-19 win over No. 3 Howell in a marquee nondivisional match. He went 4-1 for the week, with his only loss being a 4-1 decision to Franklin's Ralph Normandia, who was a state finalist at 195 last season and is currently ranked No. 10 in the nation.
Class B North
Nasiyr Brown, Jr., 132, Neptune: Brown, a state qualifier at 113 last season, made his season debut Saturday and went 3-0, including a 4-1 win over Point Boro's Ryan Budzek, the Region VI 126-pound champion last season.
Class B Central
Tyree Sutton, Jr., 195, Keansburg: After not wrestling last season, Sutton is back with authority this year. The former District 22 champion is 8-0 this season and went 6-0 this week with three pins, two tech falls and a 12-4 major decision over Brick Memorial's Nick Costa, who was the seventh place finisher in the state tournament last season at 182 pounds.
Class B South (besides Liquori)
Nick Dzuna, Sr., Point Boro, 195: Dzuna went 7-0 during the week, including a 4-3 win over Manasquan's Eric Keosseian. He is 12-1 this season and ranked No. 7 at 195 pounds.
