Week 1 Fans’ Choice Football Player of the Week Winners
As part of Shore Sports Network's 2023 Player of the Week package, football fans will have their chance to make their pick for the Shore Conference's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.
Shore Sports Network will also select its own players of the week on offense, defense, and special teams for the conference and for each of the seven divisions.
Here are the Week 1 winners as selected by the fan vote.
Offense
Ty Kline, Jr., QB, Pinelands
Kline completed 7 of 7 passes for 131 yards and three touchdowns in the Wildcats' season-opening 41-13 win over Point Beach.
Defense
Daaron Lynch, Fr., DB, Neptune
Lynch returned an interception 73 yards for a touchdown in his first high school game to seal the Scarlet Fliers' 28-6 win over Lakewood to open their season.
