2023 Girls Soccer Team of the Week

Middletown South defeated the No. 1 team at the Shore in the conference tournament semifinals and went on to defeat division rival Howell to win the SCT for the first time in school history.

Manasquan entered the Shore Conference Tournament the No. 17 seed and won its first three games, including an upset victory over No. 1 Manalapan.

Manalapan defeated No. 1 Freehold Township to become Class A North champions and take over the No. 1 spots in both the Shore 16 and Shore Conference Tournament.

Rumson-Fair Haven went 3-0 last week, which included back-to-back 1-0 victories over Shore 16 teams, to be named Surf Taco Girls Soccer Week 4 Team of the Week.

Now on a six-game winning streak, Jackson Memorial is currently is one of the hottest teams in the Shore Conference, including a 4-0 week without conceding a goal.

After starting the season unranked, Marlboro has climbed into the top ten in the Shore 16 thanks two wins over ranked teams last week.

With a pair of wins over ranked teams and a climb into the top five of the Shore Sports Network Shore 16, Central is the first Surf Taco Girls Soccer Team of the Week of 2023.
