Howell 3, Red Bank 3

Junior defenseman Zach Gershner scored the game-tying goal with 3:02 left in the third period as the Rebels (3-7-1) rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period to tie the Bucs (3-5-1).

Gershner led Howell with a goal and two assists, James Fay and Tony Brandl each scored once and Vincent Vassallo made 29 saves to keep Red Bank off the scoreboard while the Rebels mounted their comeback.

Harry Spencer scored twice to lead Red Bank, which led 1-0 after the first period and 3-1 heading to the third. Gordon Ogden added a goal and an assist and Gus Fillipelli made 20 saves.

Marlboro 6, Freehold 2

Senior defenseman Daniel Goldstein tallied two goals and two assists and junior forward Ethan Gelman scored a goal and added two assists to lead the Mustangs (5-3-2) to a victory over the district rival Colonials (2-5).

Paul Golembiewski had a goal and an assist, Mark Pellegrino and Zachary Robinson each scored once and Dmitrii Kapranov made nine saves.

DJ Clements and Armend Spahiu each scored once and Ryan O'Neill made 25 saves for Freehold.
