Every week this season, Shore Conference ice hockey fans will have their chance to vote for the Shore Sports Network Ice Hockey Player of the Week on our website.

The Week 3 Player of the Week is Wall Township senior forward Patrick DeMarinis, who tallied two goals and two assists in the Crimson Knights' 7-0 victory over Red Bank Regional for the team's first win of the season.

DeMarinis got the scoring started just 20 seconds into the game for the only goal Wall would need on the night. He had the secondary assist on a second-period goal by Jaxon Hook and then scored his second goal of the game early in the third period to give the Crimson Knights a commanding 5-0 lead. He finished the game with the primary assist on a goal by Jack Beattie.

The four points recorded by DeMarinis is a career-high and even in a shortened season, he has a chance to eclipse the seven goals and six assists he had last season.

Wall returns to action on Wednesday afternoon against a Southern Regional squad coming off a major victory on Tuesday night.

DeMarinis won the Player of the Week vote by a razor-thin margin, eclipsing Central Regional's Corey van den Berg by less than a percentage point.
