South Jersey Non-Public A Semifinal

RBC jumped out to a 7-0 lead and never looked back in their SJNPA semifinal game against rival SJV.  The Caseys had balanced scoring with four players scoring in the double-digits. Junior Christina Liggio scored a team-high 14 points and went 6 out of 8 from the foul-line for RBC. Junior Tessa Carman scored 12 points and Addy Nyemchek and Tessa Liggio each added 10 points for the Caseys. Sophomore Stella Lockhart scored a game-high 16 points for SJV and grabbed 8 rebounds. The last time RBC defeated SJV was on 3/4/17. RBC will face Paul VI on Monday at 6 p.m at Jackson Liberty High School for the South Jersey Non-Public A title.

Central Jersey Group III Semifinal

(1) Ewing 54, (4) Red Bank Regional 36

(2) Ocean Twp 50, (6) Neptune 32 

Ocean outscored Neptune 14-2 in the 2nd quarter to give themselves a cushion and advance to their second straight CJGIII final. Junior Kayden Clark led the team with 15 points and Gamila Betton posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Junior Christa Ramos scored a team-hgih 12 points for Neptune. Ocean will travel to Ewing on Saturday in a rematch of last years CJGIII final. Tip-off is at 12 p.m.

 

Central Jersey Group I Semifinal

(1) Middlesex 52, (4) Point Pleasant Beach 35

(3) Shore Regional 42, (7) New Egypt 20

Shore Regional held New Egypt to one point in the 4th quarter to return to the CJGI final for the third straight season. Senior Conley Smolokoff and junior Kimi Sayson both scored 12 points to led Shore Regional. Shore Regional will travel to Middlesex on Saturday in a rematch of last years CJGI final. Game starts at 5 p.m.
