After its last four seasons ended at Middlesex, Point Beach scored twice in the seventh to beat the four-time defending champions and win the program's first Central Group I title.

Point Beach is starving for a win over the four-time-defending Central Group I champion Middlesex, not to mention the program's first ever sectional title.

Middlesex jumped out to a two-touchdown lead on Point Beach and unlike the Garnet Gulls' last two opponents, the Blue Jays held it to win the program's first state title since 1984.

Several players with Monroe High School have been kneeling all season, following similar demonstration by professional players in the NFL.
