It was a big week for Pinelands and its top player and the voters recognized it. Dudas averaged 25.7 points in three games last week and had a career-best performance in leading her Wildcats to their first win of the season.
The senior scored 41 of Pinelands’ 52 points in an overtime win over Jackson Liberty, giving her a career-best performance to go with 18-point outings in losses to Donovan Catholic and Brick in the Wildcats’ other two games during the week.
Dudas ran away with the Week 4 Player of the Week Award, garnering 44 percent of the vote to beat out runner-up Renee Wells of Middletown South (21 percent). As the latest Seaview Orthopaedics Player of the Week in girls basketball for the 2021-22 season, Dudas will be awarded a $25 gift card to Jersey Mike's.
