Week 0 Fans’ Choice Football Player of the Week Winners
As part of Shore Sports Network's 2023 Player of the Week package, football fans will have their chance to make their pick for the Shore Conference's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.
Shore Sports Network will also select its own players of the week on offense, defense, and special teams for the conference and for each of the seven divisions.
With the polls having closed on Tuesday night, here are the Week 0 Fans' Choice Player of the Week winners.
Offense
Neno Morgan-Acker, Sr., Middletown North
Morgan-Acker ran for 114 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries and also caught a 15-yard touchdown from quarterback Luke Sheehan as the Lions scored 24 unanswered points in the second half en route to a 45-21 nondivisional victory over Freehold Township.
Defense
Reed Elsas, Sr., LB, Rumson-Fair Haven
Elsas made a team-high 13 tackles with a tackle for loss and a shared sack during No. 5 Rumson's 24-6 American Division win over No. 3 Middletown South.
