American Division

Rumson-Fair Haven 14, CBA 9

Senior attackman Alastair Orr recorded three goals and one assist and senior midfielder Andy Croddick struck for a hat trick, including the go-ahead goal in the fourth quarter, to lead the Bulldogs' furious second-half rally that erased a five-goal deficit in a thrilling divisional victory over the Colts.

Rumson has now won 42 straight games verus Shore Conference teams dating back to a loss to Manasquan in the 2019 Shore Conference Tournament final.

CBA (4-2, 1-1) outscored Rumson 5-1 in the second quarter to forge a 7-3 halftime lead and led 8-3 early in the third quarter before Rumson closed the game on an 11-1 run. Goals by Croddick and Orr late in the third quarter pulled the Bulldogs (6-0, 3-0) within a goal entering the fourth quarter. Cameron D'Alterio put CBA up 9-7 but Rumson finished the game with seven unanswered goals as Joseph Whitehouse, senior midfielder Leo Passalaqua, and  Croddick scored to give Rumson the lead for good.

Junior Britt Lumsden had two goals and two assists, sophomore attackman Luke Lydson scored twice, and Passalaqua had a goal and two assists for RFH. Whitehouse, junior midfielder Grayson Goldin, and senior defenseman Troy Monte each scored once and senior FOGO Luke Marascio won 16 of 29 face-offs. Freshman goalie Seamus Gorman made six saves and junior goalie Mickey Walker made five saves.

Senior attackman Ryan Martin tallied two goals and two assists and senior goalie Brandon Desena made 12 saves for CBA. Junior LSM Quinn Kelly posted his fourth multi-point game of the season with a goal and an assist. D'Alterio, freshman FOGO John Little, sophomore midfielder Ben Breeden, junior midfielder Davis Campbell, freshman attackman Turner Cooke, and junior midfielder Hunter Kilpatrick each scored once.

 

Manasquan 14, Wall 4

Junior attackmen Brandon Kunz and Ryan Aldi each delivered three goals and two assists and senior midfielder Brody Muly recorded a hat trick as the Warriors (5-0, 3-0) scored 12 straight goals between the 34 second mark of the first quarter and the 6:59 mark of the fourth quarter to put away the rival Crimson Knights (1-3, 1-2) and remain undefeated.

Manasquan jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Muly and Aldi before Wall tied the score on goals by sophomore midfiedler Patrick Freud and sophomore attackman Wyatt Capro. Kunz dodged and scored wit 34 seconds left in the first quarter to give Manasquan a 3-2 lead and kickstart an 11-0 Warriors run.

Muly scored twice in the first 90 seconds of the second quarter to open a 5-2 lead and goals by Kunz, Aldi, and Kunz again put Manasquan ahead 8-2 at halftime. Five more goals followed in the third quarter with senior Nick Carabetta scoring twice and Aldi, senior Joe Carabetta, and sophomore midfielder Jack O'Reilly adding once goal each. Junior pole Parker Harms added a goal in the fourth quarter to put Manasquan ahead 14-2 before Wall received goals by senior attackman Jack Meyer and junior attackman Jackson Lemongelli against Manasquan's backups.

Manasquan senior goalie Nick Bounassi made seven saves and junior goalie Pat Loxley made two saves.

Wall senior goalie Lucas Seelinger made nine saves.

 

Colonial Division

Toms River East 7, Barnegat 2

Junior midfielder Nate Cummings tallied four goals and two assists and the defense held Barnegat scoreless in the second half to lead the Raiders (4-0, 2-0) to their fourth straight win to start the season.

Sophomore attackman Nicholas Caruso added a goal and an assist and freshman attackman Gerard Uzzolino and junior midfielder Ethan Kelly each scored once. Junior Terrence Thomas recorded an assist for his first varsity point.

Juniors Bailey Carroll and Stephen Griffin each scored once for Barnegat.

 

Constitution Division

Neptune 4, Long Branch 3

Freshman midfielder Hunter Reynolds delivered a hat trick and picked up 12 ground balls, and freshman goalie Christian Loff made nine saves as the Scarlet Fliers (1-2, 1-2) nipped the Green Wave (0-3, 0-3) to pick up their first win of the season.

Freshman attackman Dominic O'Neill added a goal and an assist.

Sophomore attackman Samuel Brewer, sophomore midfielder Jayden Velez, and junior attackman Joseph Fenn each scored once and senior goalie Luis Rojas made 10 saves for Long Branch.

 

Freedom Division

Brick 11, Lacey 8

Sophomore attackman Ryan Gleason scored four goals and added one assist and junior attackman Corey Smith totaled three goals and two assists in the loss for Lacey. Sophomore attackman Braedyn Gialanella scored once and junior LSM Derek Hurley picked up 11 ground balls.

 

Jackson Liberty 12, Central 0

Senior attackman Paul Capozzi had another monster game with six goals and three assists plus an 11-for-15 evening at the face-off X to power the first-place Lions (4-0, 3-0) to a shutout victory over the Golden Eagles (1-3, 0-2).

Sophomore Jeff White registered three goals and one assist, senior Jeffery Keagan scored twice, and sophomore Kyle Butcher had a goal and an assist. Senior goalie Matt LaBianca made five saves to earn the win and sophomore Giovanni Pietropaolo recorded four saves in his varsity debut.

Junior goalie Brady Etzkorn made 17 saves for Central.

 

Nondivisional

Jackson Memorial 7, Brick Memorial 5

Senior attackman Drew Barocas scored twice to set a program record with 209 career points as the Jaguars (3-1) held off the Mustangs (2-3) in a cross-divisional battle between old Class A South rivals.

Senior midfielder Elias Craig had a team-high four points with two goals and two assists, while sophomore Joseph Muzzillo, junior David Walter, and sophomore pole Elijah Coffman had one goal apiece. Senior midfielder Zach O'Connell won 14 of 18 face-offs and senior goalie Russell Cender made nine saves.

Brick Memorial junior goalie Matt Hillin made 17 saves to eclipse the 300 save mark for his career. Sophomore attackman Nick Correia led the Mustangs with two goals and three assists and sophomore attackman Jack Deufemia scored a game-high three goals.
