Each week, Shore Sports Network selects the top players in each Shore Conference girls soccer division and gives the Shore Conference fans a chance to vote for their pick as the overall Thrive Player of the Week.

Below are the Players of the Week from each of the six Shore Conference divisions, as well as two wild cards to push the list of nominees to eight players. Vote for the top performer in the poll at the bottom of the post and come back every hour to vote again. The poll closes Thursday at 10 p.m. and the winner will receive a shirt and a free training session, courtesy of Thrive.

Shore Sports Network Players of Week

Class A North

Vanessa Sarf, SR. Manalapan - The Elon commit started her season off with a hat trick against Toms River East in Shore Conference Tournament Group play. Sarf scored the game-winner against division rival Howell and added two more against Middletown South giving her six early in the season. 

 

Class A Central

Madison Miller, SO. Wall - Miller has scored four goals to start the season and has two game-winners. She scored two goals against No. 3 Howell, one being a golden goal for the victory in SCT Group play. Miller also scored two goals against Shore Regional, the second of which was the game-winner. 

 

Class A South

Emma Harmon, SR. Central Regional - The Lafayette commit has been on fire to start the season. She has seven goals in the first four games including four against No. 12 Lacey to open up the start. Against division rivals Jackson Memorial, she scored a goal and assisted on two others, including the game-winner in a 3-2 victory for the Golden Eagles. 

 

Class B North

Emily Venezia, SO, Trinity Hall - Trinity Hall started the season off with two Class B North wins and Venezia earned a shutout in both games. Venezia overcame No. 13 Ocean and a blinding sun in the home-opener to post a shutout and followed that with double-digit saves against division favorites and No. 12 Manasquan. 

 

Class B Central

Jenna Chlapowski, JR. Monmouth Regional - Chlapowski has helped Monmouth Regional get out to a 3-0 start for this season. She has scored six goals this season including a hat trick opening day against Freehold Boro. Her biggest goals were against St. Rose in a 2-1 victory with one being the golden goal in overtime. 

 

Class B South

Delaney Spalthoff, JR. Jackson Liberty - Spalthoff started the season off with a hat trick against Long Branch and scored her fourth of the season against cross-town rivals Jackson Memorial. In the Lions first Class B South game of the season, Delaney scored two goals including the game winner late in the second half giving her six goals on the season. 

 

Wild Cards

Jordyn Bauer, FR. Marlboro - Bauer has been a big reason Marlboro has climbed up the rankings so fast, starting the season unranked and moving into the top 10. Bauer went 4-0 in her first week and earned her first two shutouts. Her biggest game was against No. 10 St. John Vianney; against the Lancers, she made a couple key saves to help Marlboro in the upset victory. 

Natalie Feniger, SR. Ocean Township - The Salisbury commit scored four goals in the first two games of the season. Feniger had both goals on opening day in the upset win over No. 14 Rumson-Fair Haven and followed that up with two goals against Raritan in SCT Group play.
