In addition to the Shore Conference Wrestler of the Week fan poll, Shore Sports Network will be selecting an Ocean County Wrestler of the Week throughout the season, presented by AOSMI (formerly known as Ocean County Sports Medicine).

Ocean County Week 3 Wrestler of the Week

Kurt Wehner, Sr., Donovan Catholic

Wehner rolled to the 120-pound Shore Conference Tournament championship with a 9-0 major decision over St. John Vianney's Matthew Gould, who finished eighth in the state at 106 pounds last season. Wehner won all four of his bouts by bonus points with two pins and two major decisions to become the Griffins' first SCT champion and help Donovan finish fifth in the team standings despite having just four wrestlers in the field.
