Red Bank Catholic is heading back to an NJSIAA state championship game.

Senior quarterback Alex Brown ran for two touchdowns and senior running back Rajahn Cooper also ran for a touchdown as the Caseys defeated St. Joseph Academy, 21-10, in the semifinals of the NJSIAA Non-Public B playoffs on Friday night at Count Basie Field.

The Wildcats (8-3) led 10-7 at halftime but a 7-yard touchdown run by Brown in the third quarter put RBC up 14-10 and another 7-yard touchdown run by Brown in the fourth quarter gave the Caseys a 21-10 lead.

Brown also completed 7 of 12 passes for 97 yards and finished with eight carries for 32 yards rushing. Junior running back Torin Harmon ran for a game-high 76 yards on 13 carries, junior running back Sabino Portella ran for 41 yards on nine carries and Cooper had 34 yards rushing on six carries. Junior wide receiver Robert Stolfa pulled down four receptions for 46 yards and sophomore wide receiver Emanuel Ross caught two passes for 44 yards.

Senior defensive back Corbett Cimini had an interception to help the Caseys post a second-half shutout.

Red Bank Catholic now advances to a state championship game for the sixth time in program history and the first time since winning the Non-Public Group 3 state title in 2018. The Caseys will square off with top-seeded DePaul, ranked No. 4 in New Jersey, in the state final on Friday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
