Class A North

No. 3 Howell 18, Middletown South 6

Senior attackman Jake Sherman fired in six goals and senior attackman Mark Buannic, senior midfielder Zack Ornstein and sophomore attackman Drew Bukowiec each scored twice as the Rebels (10-1, 5-0) took care of the Eagles (5-7, 2-3).

Junior midfielder Nic Rossi and senior attackman J.T. Pojero each finished with two assists.

 

No. 6 Freehold Township 20, Neptune 1

Mike Ferdinandi and Matt Lach each registered hat tricks and Brandon Nunez had a goal and four assists to power the Patriots (8-4, 3-1) in their victory over the Scarlet Fliers (1-8, 0-4). Billy Sasso picked up a game-high 10 ground balls.

 

Colts Neck 12, Marlboro 3

Jack Schaefer fired in four goals and had one assist, and Chris Bisognano, Vinnie Gargiulo and Thijs Smith each finished with two goals and one assist as the Cougars (4-4, 2-2) defeated the Mustangs (1-6, 0-4).

 

Class A South

No. 10 Toms River North 11, Brick 1

Junior attackman Ryan Clancy had the hot hand for the second straight game, sinking seven goals in the Mariners' (7-1, 4-0) victory over the Dragons (7-4, 2-2). Clancy has scored 13 goals in his last two games.

Senior midfielder Tyler Foss assisted on four goals and sophomore attackman Andrew Lombardi finished with a goal and two assists. Joe Vitiello, Tom Butz and Mike Hoy also tallied.

Hunter Palmer scored the lone goal for Brick.

 

Brick Memorial 12, Toms River South 11

Billy Porter scored five goals and added three assists and Bailey Sharpe had four goals and one assist as the Mustangs (4-5, 2-4) edged the Indians (2-7, 1-3).

 

Class B North

No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 18, Ranney 0

Robbie Garavente had a hat trick and three assists and Colin Pavluk and Lucas Seckler also had hat tricks as the Bulldogs (6-5, 5-0) rolled over the Panthers (0-6, 0-4). Lachlan Hull and Henry Sillen each scored twice and Seamus Walsh finished with three assists.

 

No. 7 Red Bank Catholic 16, Shore 10

Junior midfielder Brett Habich erupted for six goals and two assists to eclipse 100 points for his career and lead the Caseys (7-2, 4-0) past the Blue Devils (4-7, 1-3).

Senior attackman Tim Barile had two goals and three assists to record his 150th career point. Alec Mintz added three goals and two assists and James Mele also had a hat trick along with one assist and 10 ground balls. Julian Esposito contributed two goals and one assist and Matt Benjamin made nine saves.

Jack Britton had a big game for Shore with five goals, two assists and 11 ground balls. Hunter Avallone made 12 saves.

 

Class B South

No. 5 Manasquan 12, Wall 6

Sophomore attackman Jarrett Birch scored a game-high six goals as the Warriors (9-2, 4-0) topped the rival Crimson Knights (8-2, 3-1) to all but lock up the division title. Sophomore John Moran scored a hat trick and sophomore Joe Tonkovich struck twice. Tom Pollock made 12 saves.

Thomas Jenkins and Michael McIntyre each scored twice for Wall, while Zach Harrell made  11 saves.

 

No. 9 Barnegat 18, Point Boro 2

Senior attackman Matt Manno had a hand in 12 of the Bengals' (4-2, 2-1) goals with four goals and eight assists to spearhead a victory over the Panthers (1-10, 0-3).

Junior attackman Ryan Reynolds scored twice and had three assists, Tyler McGuinness had a hat trick, and Ricky Gerena, J.J. McKenna and Chaz Tropea each scored twice.

 

St. Rose 17, Donovan Catholic 10

Senior attackman Matt Frost scored seven goals and senior attackman Scott Dimmit and sophomore midfielder Tommy Reilly each sank four goals to propel the Purple Roses (3-8, 1-4) past the Griffins (3-7, 1-2).
