The Colts Neck girls soccer team has rolled through the competition this season and even a defending NJSIAA Group I champion was no match for the Cougars when it paid them a visit in the Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Monday.

Sophomore Frankie Tagliaferri scored two goals to up her season total to 24 and help lead top-seeded Colts Neck past No. 9 Shore, 4-0, to advance to Wednesday's semifinal against No. 13 Brick Memorial at Memorial Field in Neptune.

Tagliaferri scored Colts Neck's lone first half goal and during the second half, Erika Keselman, Nicole Loehle and Tagliaferri each scored a goal to close out the win. Keselman also had two assists in the win, while Bridgette King and Amanda Visco each added an assist.
