Results from Shore Conference boys lacrosse action on Friday, April 7.
CLASS A NORTH
No. 3 Freehold Township 14, No. 5 Howell 4
The Patriots (3-2, 1-0) used an eight-goal run that spanned three quarters to put away the rival Rebel (3-1, 0-1) and earn a key division victory.
Filling in for injured starter Mike Colicchia, sophomore attackman Matt Kondrup stepped into a midfielder role and scored a game-high four goals. Junior attackman Chris Novella fired in three goals with two assists, senior attackman Drew Dunn tallied two goals and two assists and seniors Mike Ferdinandi and Josh Nastarowicz each finished with two goals and one assist. Sophomore goalie Aidan Purcell made eight saves.
Ryan Choffey and Logan Dennison each had a goal and an assist for Howell while senior attackmen Ryan Damelio and Drew Bukowiec each scored once. Sophomore goalie Nick Roberto made eight saves.
CLASS B SOUTH
Barnegat 8, Jackson Liberty 7 (OT)
Junior attackman Orion Boyer scored two goals, including the game-winning strike in overtime, to lead the Bengals (1-1, 1-1) past the Lions (0-5, 0-1).
Junior midfielder Ryan Flaherty scored a team-high three goals while sophomore midfielder Tristan Porcelli scored twice and senior attackman Jon Arocho tallied once as Barnegat overcame a three-goal deficit in the fourth quarter.
Dylan O'Connor had two goals and one assist and Thomas Ferullo scored twice for Jackson Liberty. Gavin Ferullo, Max Matthies and Brendan Sheerin each scored once while George Frueh picked up nine ground balls. Sam Reid made 14 saves.
Lacey 18, Point Boro 7
Senior midfielder Connor Wilson scored six goals and junior attackman JoeCarlo Chimenti erupted for three goals and six assists as the Lions (3-0, 2-0) continued their hot start to the season with a victory over the Panthers (0-3, 0-1).
Lacey has scored 46 goals in three games so far this season.
Senior attackman Mike Sabarese and sophomore midfielder Chris Augustine each scored twice while sophomore Dylan Vitale had one goal and two assists. Senior Nick DeOliveira had another big game at face-off X by winning 21 of 23 draws. Junior goalie Justin Covey made 10 saves and also had an assist. Clayton Humcke and Ryan Giles had one goal and one assist each and Jared Lotruglio and LSM John Linstra each scored once.
Junior midfielder Tanner Gordon scored three times and junior attackman Trevor McNamara scored twice to lead Point Boro. Liam Connolly and Kyler Rossi each scored once.

Middletown South 9, Steinert 2
Senior attackman Pat Walsh scored a game-high four goals to power the Eagles (2-1) past the Spartans (2-2).
Senior midfielder Pete Lawson scored twice and senior attackman Zach Albrecht had one goal and three assists for Middletown South. Noah Diodato, Mike Gallicchio, Alec Madden and John Pagliettini each scored once while senior goalie Matt Marino made 13 saves.
