Quarterback Nykie Lofton ran for a pair of touchdowns and the defense held Brick Memorial's rushing attack in check to deliver the Indians (2-1, 2-0) a key divisional victory over the Mustangs (0-3, 0-3).

T.J. Rockhill had a clutch interception in the end zone to thwart a Brick Memorial drive.

The Mustangs scored on an 83-yard pass from Grant McKelvey to KiShaun Carter and a field goal by Bryce Troncone.
