Eighth Straight for Hornets

Holmdel’s dominance of the Shore Conference Boys Tennis Tournament continued this spring as they captured their eighth consecutive championship with a 5-0 victory over Christian Brothers Academy in the final at the Atlantic Club in Manasquan. Justin Wain, Harrison Lin and Dennis Barlotta won their singles matches while the doubles teams of Charles Jiang/Brian Liang and Ales Tsai/Brian Chu completed the sweep for the top-seeded Hornets.

Holmdel is the defending Group II state champions and in his 18^th year Coach Chuck Chelednik has built a dynasty with both the boys and girls programs among the best in New Jersey.
