Every week this regular season, Shore Conference football fans will have their chance to vote for the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Jersey/Shore Sports Network Football Player of the Week on our website, with over 25,000 votes cast so far this season.

The winner of the Week 2 readers' vote for the Shore Conference Football Player of the Week is Brick Memorial senior Blaine Netterman, who ran for 121 yards and two touchdowns on five carries, and also had five tackles (1 for a loss) and a pass breakup in the Mustangs' 28-14 Class A South victory over Toms River North to even their record at 1-1.

Netterman had a fantastic 75-yard touchdown run (video above) in the second half that gave Brick Memorial a 14-7 lead, and later in the third quarter added a 24-yard touchdown run to put the Mustangs up 21-7.

Tardogno (20) and Pearce (19) combined to make a whopping 39 tackles in Manalapan's 35-0 shutout over Southern.
