This week’s “Turning Point Player of the Game”:

Wall and Toms River North squared off in the final match-up of the 4th annual Coaches vs. Cancer Showcase, with both teams looking to make a statement in the non-divisional contest. The game was tied 17-17 after the first quarter, but the Mariners managed to take a 44-27 lead into the locker room at halftime. Senior Najae Hallenbeck was responsible for 25 of his team's first-half points (including a couple three-pointers), and at times it seemed like it was impossible for the big man to miss a shot. Hallenbeck ended the evening with 27 points and 16 boards, earning our Turning Point Player of the Game honors. For his efforts out on the court, Hallenbeck received a gift card from Turning Point breakfast, brunch, and lunch.

Be sure and look every week for “The Turning Point Player of the Game.
