Surf Taco Week 2 Girls Basketball Team of the Week: SJV
Every week this Winter Surf Taco and Shore Sports Network will be teaming up to select the Shore Conference Girls Basketball Team of the Week based on its performance over the past weekend.
Surf Taco Team of the Week for Week 2 is St. John Vianney "Lady Lancers"
Last week the Lady Lancers went 4-0, including their biggest win on the season against the #1 team in the nation Long Island Lutheran 59-48. That victory moved SJV from #11 to #6 in the ESPN High School Girls’ Basketball Top 25. The Lady Lancers started the week defeating #12 in NJ Gill St. Bernard’s 59-42 and then two division wins in A Central against Holmdel and Raritan.
Shore Sports Network stopped by practice this week to present the Lady Lancers with a special game ball and a $250 Surf Taco gift card.
