Surf Taco Week 8 Girls Basketball Team of the Week: Jackson Memorial
Every week this Winter Surf Taco and Shore Sports Network will be teaming up to select the Shore Conference Girls Basketball Team of the Week based on its performance over the past weekend.
Surf Taco Team of the Week for Week 8 is Jackson Memorial
Jackson Memorial has been one of the hottest teams to end the season. Last week they won all three of their CJG4 playoff games to advance into the sectional final. They defeated Princeton 71-37 in the opening round and then traveled to #4 East Brunswick and won 59-52. They ended last week defeating #1 Hightstown on the road 61-44. The combination of senior leadership and solid play from the freshmen have led to their success. They finished defending their CJG4 Title yesterday by defeating #3 Monroe 53-45. They will face Cherokee tomorrow in the Group 4 semis.
Shore Sports Network stopped by practice this week to present the Jaguars with a special game ball and a $250 Surf Taco gift card.
