Class B South

Manchester 2, Jackson Liberty 1

Juniors Mike Miccanico and Keith Fallon each singled home a run in the bottom of the fourth and sophomore Joe Sclama escaped a jam in the top of the seventh to nail down a win for the Hawks over the Lions.

Senior and starting pitcher Dan Keenan led off the Jackson Liberty seventh with a single and Manchester could not handle senior Jake Hickman's sacrifice bunt, setting the Lions up with two on and none out. Manchester got the lead runner on another sacrifice attempt and sophomore Zaine Toneske moved two runners into scoring position with a groundout to second base.

Sclama then induced junior Garrett Drew into a game-ending flyout to centerfield.
