Joe Figliolino and Jack Greenspan each singled in a run in the top of the fourth inning and that was all the offense junior right-hander Colin Reilly needed as the Colts rode his one-hitter to a win over and a regular-season split with the Eagles.

Marlboro 6, No. 4 Middletown North 2
Nick Wright doubled in two runs, Mark Capell doubled in one and Antonio Vitale pitched four dominant innings of relief for the win as the senior trio led the Mustangs (7-6, 5-5) to a win over the Lions (8-3, 5-3), splitting the regular-season series in Class A North.
Vitale allowed just one hit in his four scoreless frames while striking out five without a walk. He threw 53 pitches after junior Nik Gomulka pitched the first three, allowing two unearned runs on two hits and a walk with one strikeout and 42 pitches.
Senior Tony Sansone took the loss for Middletown North, working the first four innings on 77 pitches.
No. 6 Freehold Twp. 5, Howell 4
Senior Patrick Burns singled home a run in the first inning and closed the game on the mound in the seventh as the Patriots (9-3, 8-2) edged the Rebels (6-7, 2-6) to salvage a regular-season split with their rivals.
Senior Jake Hillermeier worked the first 4 2/3 innings to earn the win, allowing three runs on seven hits with a pair of walks and a pair of strikeouts. Sophomore Sean Keagan bridged the gap between Hillermeier and Burns with 1 2/3 innings, including a clean sixth inning to preserve a 5-3 lead.
Junior Ryan Keegan came through with an RBI single in the bottom of the fifth to give the Patriots a needed insurance run and finished 2-for-3. Senior Chris Corchado was 1-for-3 with a triple, senior Matt Villapiano was 2-for-3 with a run scored, and both junior Jon Olik and senior Zach Gorman finished 1-for-2 with a run scored.
Junior Thomas Strauch led off the game with a solo home run to left field for Howell and later added an RBI single as part of a 3-for-4 day to lead the Rebels lineup. Senior Vin Impresa was 2-for-4 with a run and junior Daniel Furlong went 1-for-3 with a win in the loss.
Junior Ryan Bilello went the distance on the mound in taking the loss.

Junior Ben Hutchins earned the win in relief and also picked up a pair of hits and an RBI at the plate as the Rockets (6-6, 5-3) salvaged a regular-season split with the Falcons (7-5, 3-5). Sophomore Dan Fedorco also drove in a run with a pair of hits and junior Alex Dekis plated the go-ahead run with an RBI single for Raritan.
St. Rose 8, Shore 6
Senior Tom Turnbach went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBI and the Purple Roses (4-9, 3-5) used a six-run second to upend the Blue Devils (4-9, 0-8) for the second time this week.
Junior Ryan Rogers and freshman Jack Tiernan each went 1-for-3 with two run scored, with Rogers also chipping in a double at the plate. Senior Shane Killeen pitched 4 1/3 innings of relief to pick up the win.
Class A South
Toms River South 11, Brick 0 (6 Innings)
Junior Aiden Folsom pitched a four-hit shutout and Toms River South's offense continued to rake as the Indians (4-9, 3-6) blanked the Green Dragons (5-7, 2-5) in six innings.
Folsom issued his first walk of the season after 53 straight batters without one and finished with two free passes to go with eight strikeouts on the day. He also made it to the halfway point without giving up a hit, with senior Rob Blair breaking up the no-hitter on a single with two out in the fourth.
Sophomore Chris Clark opened the scoring with a two-run double in the second inning. Senior Ryan Mackle continued the assault with an RBI double in the third, followed by an RBI double by Ty Gibson - the first of three RBI for the senior. Junior Gavin Migliori drove in two runs and sophomore Mike Erli added an RBI double in a five-run sixth that wrapped up the Toms River South win.
Class B North
Neptune 4, Manasquan 2
Sophomore Quincy Esannason hit a three-run home run in support of winning pitcher Billy Foy and the Scarlet Fliers (6-5, 4-4) completed a intra-division-series sweep of the Warriors (2-11, 2-6). Foy pitched 5 2/3 innings to earn the win.

Senior Matt Kaliske crushed a grand slam in the top of the second inning and the Lions (8-4) held off a late-inning rally by the Golden Eagles (9-4) to nail down the win under the lights at Al Leiter Field.
Junior Mike Todaro pitched into the sixth inning to earn the win on the mound and also went 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI to help his cause.
Freshman Dom Masino went 4-for-4 with a double and an at the plate for Central and classmate Cristian Soto was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Junior Cam Leiter ripped a two-run single off the fence to cut the Lacey lead to 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth, missing a go-ahead grand slam by a matter of a couple of feet before Lacey's Noah Quinn escaped the threat.
