Toms River South 64, Toms River East 57
Senior Rob Peirson scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Indians (9-4, 4-3) to a win over the rival Raiders (6-6, 4-2).
Sophomore Shane Gambarony added 17 points and senior Kai Barckley chipped in 15 for Toms River South.
Senior Jason McKelvey led Toms River East with 17 points, while senior Steve Scorsone added 13 and junior Justice Fergus pitched in 12 in the loss.
Class B South
No. 7 Central 55, Lacey 22
Junior Jaycen Santucci scored 15 points to go with five steals to lead a clampdown effort by the Golden Eagles (10-3, 6-0) against the Lions (4-7, 1-5).
Senior Miles Chevalier posted 10 points and 11 rebounds and senior Jordan Barbot pitched in 10 points and six rebounds for Central.
Junior Jon Stablie led Lacey with nine points.
South Crossover
Barnegat 51, Jackson Memorial 46
Senior Jamari Smith scored a game-high 19 points and the Bengals (8-6, 4-2) rallied from a 10-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter to top the Jaguars (6-8, 4-2) on the road.
Junior Mason Krey added 12 points for Barnegat, which outscored Jackson Memorial, 29-14, in the final eight minutes while shooting 15-for-16 from the free-throw line in the fourth.
Senior Shaun Hubbard scored 11 points and sophomore Randy Holmes poured in 10 to lead Jackson Memorial. Seniors Anthony Hallihan and Matt Pitera each added nine in the loss.
Southern 70, Brick 37
Sophomore Jake Sliwinski and freshman Noah Perna each turned in 18 points in well-rounded performances as the Rams (10-5, 4-2) rolled past the Green Dragons (1-11, 1-5).
Sliwinski added five rebounds, six assists and four steals, while Perna grabbed 10 rebounds, handed out five assists and also nabbed four steals. Senior Brian Harper also pitched in 15 points for Southern.
Sophomore Mike Sullivan led Brick with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Brick Memorial 46, Pinelands 40
Sophomore Sean Collins scored a game-high 21 points and the Mustangs (5-7, 2-4) held off the Wildcats (1-11, 0-5).
Senior Tyler Ellerbrock added 10 points for Brick Memorial, which took over the lead with a 15-6 run during the third quarter.
No. 8 Toms River North 56, Manchester 50
Senior Tareq Coucil scored 17 points to go with 10 rebounds and the Mariners (9-3, 5-1) battled for a win over the Hawks (6-8, 2-5).
Senior Micah Ford added 13 points for Toms River North.
Junior Aidan Lunn led Manchester with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while senior Tre Ross pitched in 12 in the loss.
Class B Coastal
No. 2 Manasquan 65, Wall 40
Junior Griffin Linstra scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to highlight a Warriors (12-1, 7-0) win over the Crimson Knights (5-8, 2-5).
Senior Jason O'Reilly and sophomore Jack O'Reilly each pitched in 10 points and five rebounds and freshman Logan Cleveland threw in eight points for Manasquan.
Coastal Crossover
Raritan 43, Neptune 35
Senior Alex Garguilo scored 20 points and the Rockets (2-11, 1-6) upended the Scarlet Fliers (1-13, 1-6) on the road.
St. John Vianney 58, No. 14 Ranney 49
Senior Emanuel Domingo took over with 15 points, 13 rebounds and six blocked shots to help the Lancers (6-8, 5-2) won their third straight while handing the Panthers (6-7, 3-4) their seven loss in the last eight games following a 5-0 start.
Junior Alex Jurado added 10 points, senior Deon Jackson posted nine points and 10 rebounds, and senior Mark Augello pitched in eight points, six rebounds and four assists for St. John Vianney.
Junior MeSean Williams led Ranney with 16 points, five rebounds, five steals and three blocks, while senior Drew Buck added 15 points, five rebounds and four blocks in the loss.
No. 1 St. Rose 93, Matawan 52
Senior Matt Hodge put up 26 points and nine rebounds in three quarters of work and the Purple Roses (14-1, 7-0) continued their rampage through the Shore Conference with a road win over the Huskies (3-10, 2-4).
Junior Evan Romano scored 15 points while handing out seven assists, sophomore Jayden Hodge added 14 points and four assists, and senior Gio Panzini netted 10 points for St. Rose.
Junior Chauncey Brown led Matawan with 18 points and classmate Jayden Elijah posted 15 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.
Class B Central
Monmouth 48, Ocean 35
Sophomore Ahmir Wiggins put up 19 points and 10 rebounds and the Falcons (8-4, 4-2) topped the Spartans (5-8, 3-3).
Junior James Curley added 12 points and sophomore Jaylin Reeves netted eight for Monmouth.
Senior Keith Allen led Ocean with 12 points, sophomore Aidan Saint Louis chipped in nine and senior Devon Simms scored eight in the loss.
Central Crossover
Shore 71, Keyport 60
Senior Alex George poured in a season-high 20 points as one of four Shore players in double-figure scoring in a Blue Devils (11-2, 5-1) win over the Red Raiders (3-7, 1-3).
Senior Joe Santi knocked down 15 points, while senior Gianni Fiumefreddo and junior Bryce Crowe each contributed 14 for Shore.
Junior Andrei Matthews and senior Mike Nichols each scored 15 points and junior Dominco Dispenza added 14 to lead Keyport. Senior Ryan Burns also pitched in 11 points in the loss.
No. 16 Donovan Catholic 68, Asbury Park 31
Sophomores Kai Pritchard and Frank DiMaggio each scored 10 points and the Griffins (9-3, 5-0) secured a road win over the Blue Bishops (0-13, 0-5).
Senior Shy'heim Barnes led Asbury Park with a game-high 16 points.
Jackson Liberty 69, Keansburg 49
Senior Lukas Latvys scored 27 points and the Lions (1-10, 1-2) closed the first half on a 20-0 run -- the deciding sequence that buried the Titans (1-12, 0-8) in Jackson Liberty's first win of the season.
Senior Charlie Callahan added 14 points for Jackson Liberty, which played its first game since the Lions' game at Keyport was halted and postponed on Jan. 12 after senior Dylan Teopaco suffered a head injury in-game.
Non-Conference
No. 4 CBA 91, Patrick School 56
Junior Justin Fuerbacher scored a team-high 22 points and the Colts (10-3) rolled to a win over the Celtics' "B" Team (1-4).
Junior Kevin Pikiell and senior Peter Noble each scored 15 points, with Pikiell also adding seven rebounds and four assists. Sophomore Connor Andree pitched in 12 rebounds and eight rebounds in the win.
