Firework displays across the state have been canceled or postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions and concerns, but a new option has just been announced for Ocean County.

You are cordially invited to celebrate America with the Lakewood BlueClaws this Friday, July 3rd at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood for a one-of-a-kind RED, WHITE, and BLUECLAWS fireworks show.

The Lakewood BlueClaws already know how to throw a party. Add a giant 4th of July fireworks display into the mix and you know it's going to be one CLAWsome night out.

And this won't be your typical fireworks display because there are TWO awesome ways to enjoy the show. The first option is an exclusive in-park experience with a delicious dinner spread, dessert, live entertainment, and more. The ballpark event - the first since quarantine measures were put in place - begins at 7 p.m. and will be capped at 450 guests to keep social distancing guidelines in check.

The second way to watch is from the comfort of your own vehicle with a parking lot-only, drive-in option.

Wherever you're viewing them from, the fireworks will kick off at 9:30 p.m. with a display that will last twice as long as a normal BlueClaws show and with higher-elevation fireworks for a more dynamic experience.

Townsquare Media and RWJBarnabas Health are proud to partner with the Lakewood BlueClaws for their first post-quarantine event that is sure to be the perfect night for Ocean County families.

Tickets for the in-park option are just $40 and include a hamburger, hot dog, corn on the cob, mac and cheese, a beverage, and ice cream, PLUS a BlueClaws hat and baseball!

Tickets for the parking lot portion of the event are also extremely limited and available for just $15 per car. The parking lot will open at 8:00 pm for those with this ticket type. There will be no access to the stadium, though the BlueClaws will provide portable bathrooms. Popcorn, pretzels, soda, and limited merchandise will be available, though fans will be required to wear masks while walking to the stands and waiting on line.

Tickets for both the in-park and parking lot portions will go on sale to the general public beginning on Tuesday, June 23rd at 10:00 a.m. Fans can only order tickets online via BlueClaws.com. No phone orders will be accepted.
