Behind a shutdown defensive effort, Rumson-Fair Haven defeated Matawan 17-0 in a Shore Conference Class A Central game on Friday night. The Bulldogs allowed just 41 total yards and registered six sacks and forced two turnover. Junior quarterback Michael O'Connor ran and passed for a touchdown in the win.
