Sophomore attackman Canyon Birch scored a game-high five goals with two assists while senior attackman Jarrett Birch scored four times as Manasquan, ranked No. 1 in the Shore Sports Network Top 10, cruised to a 16-8 Shore Conference nondivisional victory over No. 4 Christian Brothers Academy on Friday afternoon at the National Guard Training Center in Sea Girt.

Senior midfielder Devan Carroll added a hat trick and senior midfielder Pat Felstedt notched two goals with two assists for Manasquan. Senior midfielder John Moran and senior attackman Joe Tonkovich each scored once. Senior Tom Pollock played the first half in goal and made three saves while sophomore Mike Lapoint got the nod in the second half and finished with six saves.

Senior attackman Nick Casner led CBA with four goals while Connor Macrae, Mike Carroll, Robbie Hermansen and Jack Koury each scored once. Ryan McGuiness made 10 saves.

Felstedt, Carroll and Canyon Birch each scored in the first quarter to give Manasquan a 3-1 lead, and Jarrett Birch scored three times in the second quarter as the Warriors opened up an 8-2 halftime edge. The lead ballooned to 13-4 after three quarters as Canyon Birch scored three times.
