No. 4 CBA 2, Freehold Twp. 1 (9 Innings)

Junior Ben Settino scored the winning run on an error in the top of the ninth and the Colts (13-4, 7-4) came back to edge the Patriots (10-8, 7-6).

CBA tied the game in the sixth on an RBI ground out by junior Pat Reilly. Freehold Township opened the scoring in the fourth on an RBI double by sophomore Pat Burns.

Junior Braedin Hunt retired all 11 batters he faced, including five via strikeout, to earn the win in relief of starter Evan Mahns.

Seniors Liam Simon and Ryan Kurczeski each allowed just one hit for Freehold Township, with Simon striking out eight and walking four in six innings.

Howell 9, Freehold Boro 8

Senior Ryan Bearse singled home the tying and winning runs with a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh and the Rebels (10-7, 8-5) rallied for four runs in their last at-bat for a walk-off win over the Colonials (4-15, 3-11) at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood.

Sophomore Alec Glen tripled and drove in five runs and sophomore Jeff Wall earned the win with five strikeouts in three shutout innings to lead the Garnet Gulls (10-6, 9-2) over the Blue Bishops (1-9, 1-9).
