Media Day Kicks Off 2022 All-Shore Gridiron Classic

Players and coaches met earlier this week as part of Media Day for the 43^rd Shore Sports Network All-Shore Gridiron Classic presented by Jersey Mike’s and the U.S. Army.  The game which matches current seniors from Ocean and Monmouth County high schools will be played on Wednesday, July 13 at Brick Township High School after being postponed for the last two years due to the pandemic.

General Managers Frank Papalia (Ocean) and John Bird (Monmouth) talked with the players in attendance about physicals and other needed items before practice starts on July 8 and the teams then broke into separate groups to meet with head coaches Steve Antonucci (Middletown South) and Jarrett Pidgeon (Central Regional).  They were also treated to subs and more from Jersey Mike’s with special thanks to Kevin Brennan and the crew at the Jersey Mike’s in the Brick Plaza.

Players were also given tickets to sell to family/friends for $8.00 in advance (they will be $10 at the gate).

It was also announced that the game will be streamed live on shoresportsnetwork.com with Matt Harmon and Kevin Williams handling the broadcast.
