The Jersey Shore Basketball League has been a summer staple for decades and the 2018 season which started in late June is coming to a close. The playoff semifinals will be played tonight at St. Rose High School in Belmar and produce a first in JSBL history….live streaming. In the 7:15 opener Stern’s Trailer (#2 seed) will take on 3rd seeded Orthopaedic Institute of Central Jersey, who beat Doughboys 125-113 in the quarterfinals last night. Following that game at 8:45 it will be regular-season champion Larson Ford going up against RKE Athletic, who knocked off defending champion SeaView Jeep 123-122 in a thriller last night.
Four-time New Jersey Sportscaster of the Year Matt Harmon will handle the play-by-play of tonight’s semifinal doubleheader and be joined by Greg Kapalko, a member of the JSBL Board of Governors and the Shore Sports Network’s Kevin Williams.
