Girls Basketball Ocean County Week 8 Player of the Week

The Basketball Player of the Week has been a staple of Shore Sports Network's coverage over the years and we have always left it up to the fans to decide the winner -- and still do. Now, SSN is recognizing its own choices for Player of the Week, not just in the Shore Conference, but in Monmouth and Ocean Counties individually.

Ocean County’s Week 8 (2/5 to 2/11) Player of the Week Presented by AOSMI

Reece Paget, Lacey

Paget posted back-to-back double-doubles to help Lacey win their first two games in the Shore Coaches Cup and advance into the semifinals. Her performance earned her the Ocean County Player of the Week.

In the opening round against Brick Township, Paget scored 12 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a 46-26 victory. She followed that with 21 points and 11 rebounds in the quarterfinal round against Keyport. It was her 13th double-double of the season and she knocked down a season-high three 3-pointers in the game.

Each Ocean County Player of the Week will receive a $10 gift card courtesy of Surf Taco.
