Jersey Mikes Team of the Week for Week 5 of the Season is Trinity Hall

Trinity Hall went 2-1 last week, winning six out of their last seven games with their only defeat coming to No. 1 Red Bank Catholic. Their performance in Week 5 earned them the Jersey Mikes Girls Basketball Team of the Week and they will receive a $150 Gift Card from Jersey Mikes.

The Monarchs opened the week defeating Middletown North 48-26. Trinity Hall outscored the Lions 28-12 in the second half led by sophomore Grace Feeney who tied a career-high of 17 points.

Trinity Hall kept the game close against the No. 1 team in the Shore 16, Red Bank Catholic, for the first three quarters. The Monarchs outscored RBC 17-12 in the 3rd quarter to cut the deficit to six points, but the Caseys outscored Trinity Hall 25-9 to close the game out. Senior Nina Emnace scored a game-high 21 points and had 3 steals.

Trinity Hall bounced back, defeating Middletown South 64-46. The Monarchs outscored the Lady Eagles 25-12 in the 2nd quarter to open the game up. Emnace scored a game-high 27 points and Feeney added 15 points. Trinity Hall had 18 forced Middletown South to turn the ball over and ended the game with 18 steals.
