The Basketball Player of the Week has been a staple of Shore Sports Network's coverage over the years and we have always left it up to the fans to decide the winner -- and still do.  Now, SSN is recognizing its own choices for Player of the Week, not just in the Shore Conference, but in Monmouth and Ocean Counties individually.

Shore Conference Week 7 Player of the Week Presented by Surf Taco

Nina Emnace, Trinity Hall

With the season winding down, Emnace continues to be dominant and is looking to lead Trinity Hall to a deep postseason run. Last week she averaged 22 points a game over four games and was just as impactful on the defensive end of the floor to earn her the Shore Conference Player of the Week.

Against No. 10 Manchester, Emnace scored a game-high 25 points and a game-high 9 steals. She helped the Monarchs keep Devyn Quigley to 19 points, her lowest total of the season.

In the Winter Classic at Kean University, she shot 14 out of 16 from the foul-line and scored a season-high 30 points against Chatham, who is ranked in the top 20 in New Jersey. Emnace also grabbed six rebounds and had 3 steals on her way to being named the games Most Value Player.

Each Shore Conference Player of the Week will receive a gift card courtesy of Surf Taco.
