The Basketball Player of the Week has been a staple of Shore Sports Network's coverage over the years and we have always left it up to the fans to decide the winner -- and still do.  Now, SSN is recognizing its own choices for Player of the Week, not just in the Shore Conference, but in Monmouth and Ocean Counties individually.

Shore Conference Week 4 Player of the Week Presented by Surf Taco

Devyn Quigley, Manchester

Quigley had a record setting week for Manchester, scoring her 2,000 point and tying Manchester’s All-Time scoring record early in the week and ending the week scoring the most points in a single game in Manchester’s history. Her performance earned her the Shore Conference Player of the Week.

Needing 28 points to reach 2,000 on her career, Quigley scored 38 points to tie former teammate Destiny Adams’s scoring record (boys and girls) of 2,010 points at Manchester. Ironically she accomplished this achievement against the same team Adams did back in the 2020-2021 season, Jackson Memorial. Quigley also grabbed 24 rebounds and had 4 steals in the 60-46 victory.

Quigley followed that by scoring a career-high 58 points against No. 11 Ranney in a 68-59 victory for Manchester. Quigley moved up to 10th on the All-Time scoring list in the Shore Conference for girls basketball. She also had her 4th straight double-double, grabbing 10 rebounds in the game.

Each Shore Conference Player of the Week will receive a gift card courtesy of Surf Taco.
