Central 39, Toms River South 30

Junior guard Julia Altieri delivered a spark from the arc for Central (2-3, 1-1), draining four 3-pointers on her way to a season-high 19. Senior guard Mercedes Corbin added 10 points for the Golden Eagles, who held a 21-16 lead at intermission.

Kelle Anwander scored 10 for Toms River South (1-4, 0-2).

Non-Divisional

Ocean 31, Monmouth 28

Middletown North 46, Mater Dei 23

Junior guard Victoria Palladino, who hadn't hit a 3-pointer in the first four contests, buried four en route to a season-best 15 points for the Lions (2-3).

Junior foward Sophia Memon collected nine points, eight boards, three blocks, three steals and two assists while senior guard Hayley Stratton had five points, seven boards, four assists and two steals. Sophomore guard Ronnie Brucato matched her season-high with eight points to go with three assists and senior guard Olivia Cerbo netted seven points for Middletown North.

Wall 32, Trinity Hall 30

Senior guard Nikki Russo paced the Crimson Knights (3-3), who extended their win streak to three, with 10 points and six rebounds. Wall used an 11-6 effort in the second quarter to take an 18-13 lead.

Junior Alexis Nerenberg grabbed a team-high eight rebounds, handed out a team-high three assists and added three steals. Senior guard Abby Nonnenberg and sophomore guard Lauren Lacey each snared seven boards and junior guard Margo Iradi scored seven.

Junior forward Caitlin Wingertzahn scored a game-high 13 for Trinity Hall (3-3).

Non-Conference

Freehold Twp. 54, Old Bridge 29

Junior forward Hannah Orloff clicked for 18 points to top the Patriots (5-1), who picked up their third consecutive victory. Freehold Twp. took control in the first half, building a 29-15 cushion.

Junior guard Kaylie Elsbree netted 13 and her twin sister Tanya finished with 10 for Township.
