CLASS A SOUTH

Brick 7, Brick Memorial 2

Will Swiderski scored three times while James Rea and Christian Schlaefer scored two goals apiece to lead the Dragons (2-9, 2-4) to a win over the Mustangs (6-6, 2-4).

Filipe Correia and Rex Freeman scored for Brick Memorial and Jake White made 18 saves.

 

CLASS B NORTH

No. 7 St. John Vianney 12, Red Bank 4

Junior midfielder Anthony Brett scored four goals and added two assists and senior attackman Andrew Gosse also scored four goals to lead the Lancers (8-6, 4-3) to a win over the Bucs (6-8, 0-6).

Mike D'Anzeri scored twice, Nick Caruti and Damon Washington scored once and C.J. Hanson made 19 saves. Josh O'Leary won 11 of 16 face-offs and picked up 10 ground balls and Brett had a game-high 15 ground balls.

Tor Haugenes led Red Bank with two goals and one assist. Ryan McGee added one goal and one assist, A.J. Abarno scored once and Matt Gibson made 17 saves.

 

No. 5 Rumson-Fair Haven 11, Red Bank Catholic 4

William Sullivan sank three goals and Kiel Forlenza and Sam Mannino each tallied two goals and two assists to lead the Bulldogs (9-7, 6-2) past the Caseys (7-7. 3-5).

Luke Devlin, Peter Nitka, Harry Ricker and Thomas Russo each scored once while Jimmy Hempstead and Tommy Swain combined to go 14-for-16 on face-offs. Ryan Croddick made nine saves to pick up the win in goal and Doug Duprey made four saves.

Jack Zenkert and Ryan Schellin finished with one goal and one assist each to lead RBC. Declan Grigg made 12 saves while Kyle Boggio and Anthony Muniz scored one goal apiece.

 

CLASS B SOUTH

Lacey 17, St. Rose 7

Senior attackman Dylan Vitale scored five goals and added one assist and senior attackman Dominic Waltonowski tallied three goals and three assists to power the Lions (9-1, 5-1) to a win over the Purple Roses (2-9, 2-3).

Chris Augustine notched two goals and two assists, Brett Spafford scored twice, Ryan Giles had one goal and three assists and Gustavo Baxes made eight saves. Mike Long, Jake Schlosser, LSM Garrett Sayre and defenseman Ryan Collins each scored once.

Noal Boehmcke led St. Rose with three goals. Spencer Flynn added one goal and two assists, Logan LeMoult had one goal and one assist and Patrick Dwyer and Ryan Harms scored one goal apiece. Max MacEachern made 14 saves.

 

NONDIVISIONAL

No. 4 Shore 17, No. 9 Freehold Township 6

Senior attackman Jake Turner tallied four goals and four assists and senior midfielder Gil Goldsmith added two goals and five assists as the Blue Devils (11-0) delivered an impressive victory over the Patriots (8-5).

Senior midfielder Jack McCrae had a hat trick plus one assist and freshman midfielder Jamie Mazzacco also scored three times. Sophomore FOGO Sean O'Brien had an excellent day at face-offs X going 18-for-25 on draws and LSM Jake Shirley also had a big game with double-digit ground balls while keeping Freehold Township standout midfielder Matt Kondrup off the scoresheet.

Tom Bocco chipped in with two goals, Justin Murphy and Terry Carlstrom had one goal and one assist and Nick Crochet scored once. Scott Sirianni made eight saves to pick up the win.

Junior attackman Brendan Doel led Freehold Township with two goals and two assists. Nick Elimanco also scored twice, Kyle Von Nessen had a goal and an assist and Jake Liebross scored once. Aidan Purcell made eight saves in goal.

 

Marlboro 6, Mater Dei Prep 2

Senior Matt Weber scored four goals to reach 100 career points and lead the Mustangs (2-8) to a win over the Seraphs (1-8).

Finn Leahy and Vincent Aquilino each had one goal and one assist and Aquilino also collected eight ground balls. Bryden Deleany made five saves.

 

Jackson Liberty 12, Donovan Catholic 9

Nick Labianca fired in six goals and added two assists and Sean Reid made 13 saves to lead the Lions (7-5) past the Griffins (3-6).

Jake Bosco added two goals and three assists, Joe Granza had two goals and two assists and Michael Behm and Matthew Bland each scored once.

Andrew Schlendorf had a hat trick and Daniel Murphy had two goals and one assist to lead Donovan Catholic. Peter Rao made 14 saves, John Schlendorf had one goal and one assist and Trevor Barber, Jared Wacha and Keaon Torres each scored once. Barber also went 21-for-25 on face-offs.
