This week’s “Turning Point of the Game”:

Holding onto a 14-6 lead with under a minute to go in the 4th quarter of their annual Thanksgiving Day match-up with Manasquan, the Wall defense was looking to make a big stop and end the game. The Warriors were driving down the field after a couple of solid chunk plays and found themselves just 34 yards away from the end zone with a fresh set of downs at their disposal. Starting out in the shotgun, senior QB Cam Teza took the snap and immediately rolled out to his right. Looking to make another big pass, Teza attempted to connect with fellow senior John Foreman around the first down marker. Sophomore FS Matt Dollive, however, read the play perfectly and swooped in for the interception, essentially icing the game. Wall improved to 12-0 with the win for the first time in program history. For his efforts, Dollive will receive a gift card from Turning Point breakfast, brunch, and lunch.

Be sure and look every week for “The Turning Point of the Game.
