Two long-time rivals met for the first time since 2011 on Friday night and put on an incredible show. Under their brand-new lights, Lacey played host to Central Regional in our Jersey Mike's Game of the Week. In a surprising offensive battle, the Lions entered halftime with a 27-14 advantage over the Golden Eagles. Central would pull to within 6 points following a touchdown early in the 4th quarter, but our Turning Point of the Game saw Lacey's sophomore QB Noah Brunatti connect with senior TE Mike Kudlacik late in the quarter icing the game for the Lions. Lacey improved to 3-0 with the win while Central fell to 1-1. Both teams will be at home in a pair of Week 3 Liberty Division match-ups: Lacey will take on 0-2 Manasquan while Central has a tough test against 3-0 Donovan Catholic.

Special congratulations to our Ocean Trophies Player of the Game, Lacey senior S/WR Bobby Evans. Evans had three total TD's—two through the air and one on the ground—and finished with 133 all-purpose yards in his team's 13 point victory.
