Senior Spencer Hobson broke open the game with a three-run home run in the bottom of the third and classmate Cade LaGrassa effectively ended it with a grand slam in the following inning as the Bulldogs slugged their way past the Purple Roses and into the MCT round of 16 against No. 12 Manasquan.

Rumson jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning thanks to five walks, plus an RBI double by senior Owen Kenney.
