Toms River North 4, Central 3
Pitchers Kieran Mulholland and Brenden Lavallee each notched an RBI single and Ty Kazanowsky doubled home what proved to be the winning run in the top of the seventh as the Mariners held off the Golden Eagles to eliminate Central from Shore Conference Tournament consideration.
Dom Masino finished a double shy of the cycle and his two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh cut the Central deficit to 4-2. A bases-loaded walk by Trevor Policastro made it 4-3, but Mulholland struck out his third batter of the inning to end the game with the bases loaded.
