Two of the best teams in the state met on the mat in a highly entertaining Class A South duel. Brick Memorial traveled to Manahawkin to take on Southern in our first Jersey Mike's Match of the Week this season. The Mustangs and Rams were tied early on after several bouts, but on the back of a five-bout winning streak in the middle of the match the Rams powered forward to a 41-23 victory. With the win, Southern continued their perfect start to the season, improving to 7-0. The match represented Brick Memorial's first loss as the Mustangs headed into the Williamstown Duels with a record of 4-1. Check out some of the highlights from the evening in the video below.
